Initially
I started the gym personal trainer classes to tone my body, and to hopefully
make myself healthier. Angela from The Essential Body Studio told me that I
would probably drop a couple of dress sizes. I must admit that I really did not
believe that a bit of weight training could make such a difference.
The
first time I attended a class I was nervous and self conscious as I had never
entered a gym before and had no idea what to expect. I
needn’t have worried, as Angela was
extremely supportive and encouraging.
Very quickly I felt very comfortable at class and was really enjoying
the variety of exercises and weight training.
It
wasn’t long before I was receiving compliments about the change in my figure
and after a few months, found that I had dropped two dress sizes. It
is now 12 months since I started attending the 2 one hour classes per week, and
I feel a lot fitter and healthier, and I thoroughly enjoy the exercises.
At Angela’s classes, no matter what age you are, fitness
level or size, Angela makes everyone
feel extremely comfortable and welcome. I
honestly feel that if I can start attending gym classes in my 50’s, then anyone
can.
The

I started one on one personal training a few months
ago to look the best I can in my wedding dress. I joined Essential Body because
I was not interested in the gym atmosphere, this is a more personal approach. My
goal is to tone up, my training has been based around what I want to achieve and
just after a few months I can now see muscles and
definition. I really enjoy and look forward to my training sessions. I
am extremely pleased I joined up and am loving the results, I am now also
starting the fit boxing group sessions. If you
are wanting to tone up, slim down or get your fitness levels up, I definitely
